So...who is this guy?
Anesti Danelis is a Toronto-based musical and sketch comedian, improviser, actor, writer. He serenades his audiences with delightfully dark, genre-hopping songs, that are a classy mix of observational and surreal humour. He has performed at comedy festivals (Montreal Sketchfest 2017, Fresh Notes Fest 2018), and around the city. He debuted his solo acoustic comedy Songs for a New World Order at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2017 from where it was selected by The Second City Toronto for their inaugural John Candy Box Series, which remounted and showcased their top comedy picks of the fringe. The show was toured at Montreal Fringe 2018, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018 where it was one of eight shows nominated for Best Comedy Show at the Amused Moose Comedy Awards. The show also received a raft of audience praise.
He creates web shorts for his Facebook and YouTube pages. His work has been featured on the viral social media page 9GAG, and Global News, and recently he released a comedic music video for his song Realistic Roleplay.
